Scrikss, both a manufacturer and a distributor of significant global brands, has maintained its leadership in the pen market in Turkey since its establishment in 1963. The name Scrikss, of Spanish origin, is derived from the Catalan word "Escriure," meaning to write. The first Turkish fountain pen with all parts except the nib being domestically produced was manufactured by Scrikss in 1966. In 1993, Scrikss won a quality award in the Netherlands in the field of quality writing instruments and successfully represented Turkey at the Frankfurt and Moscow fairs the same year.
